Clubs & Activities
BOX TOPPERS CLUB
Box Toppers meet every week to clip, collect, count, and help our school cash in with Box Tops! Every dime matters and all money raised through Box Tops for Education goes directly to our school. Keeping the end goal in mind, we make a difference one dime at a time!
CREATIVE LEADERS CLUB
We prepare flyers, posters, and banners for events within our school community. Additionally, we add our creative flair with occasional art theme projects throughout the campus.
Mission: Together we will sharpen our saw every week, expressing ourselves through dance. We will share our love of dance with our community, performing for our school and Fallbrook.
Maie Ellis dance club is an inclusive group of students from all grade levels that comes together to learn about each other and other cultures through dance. We meet every Wednesday morning at the flag pole, and begin our day full of joy, exercise, and positive vibes! Come and join us and get your boogey on!
Engineering Club will focus on innovation! We will identify school and community problems as well as develop and implement solutions. The problems and solutions will be entirely student led. Let's get creative!
GREEN TEAM CLUB
Maie Ellis Green team empowers students to become more involved in our school environment. We are educating students and staff about the effects of waste in our environment and how they can reduce waste through recycling. To encourage them to be proactive, we have set up recycling bins throughout our school.
Maie Ellis Greeters take pride in welcoming Mustang families each and every morning. Our greeters understand the power of a handshake and the significance of a smile. They begin with the end in mind - appreciating that developing high achieving bilingual, biliterate students with positive cultural attitudes begins with, "Buenos dias, que tengas un gran día."
Open to third through sixth graders, the Library Leaders Club meets once a month for more in-depth learning about our library. Among other activities, students learn how to re-shelve books properly; use our online catalog, including scanning books for checkout and return; help younger students find age-appropriate books in the library; and assist younger students with reading. Club members also help with seasonal decorations in the library, and they help keep the AR and Leader in Me bulletin boards current.
